For this project, we had to come out with an idea for a unique app. As the Documentarian I recorder our team and made a video. Pet-rika, would be a mobile app that will help our community communicate with possible beholders of his/her lost pet. Our society is accustomed to witnessing animals on the streets that the possibility of helping the animal does not cross their minds. With an app that encourages the person to take action, pets will be saved from the brutality of the streets. Technology engulfs our world, so what better way to reach out to people? Using a mobile app to post lost and found information for animals revolutionizes the posting on the tree trend by bringing that idea to the 21 century. Utilizing our programming skills will enhance our application and make it work efficiently which involves the science department. The mathematical calculations for our survey helped us with the statistics and probability on what aspects within the app would attract people. With the concept of our app we are using engineering because essentially we are solving a problem in our community. This was such a wonderful project that I hope it becomes reality.
